Given the substantial challenges the market presented us, namely a 500 point plunge on the Dow the night before opening (the biggest one day fall since December 2008) followed by the S&P downgrade of the US credit rating on Saturday morning – we were absolutely delighted that so many investors attended. Based on the feedback we have already received from visitors, the event was ideally timed for investors, who relished the opportunity to gain direct access to Australia’s most trusted experts under one roof.
